Black Seki Inari Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Fukuoka Prefecture, dedicated to the deity Inari Okami. The shrine is known for its beautiful garden and traditional architecture, which reflect the local culture of Kyushu. Black Seki Inari Shrine is also famous for being the final resting place of Hirofumi Tokuda, a Japanese chemist who discovered vitamin C.

Cultural notes
Inari Okami is revered as the god of rice, fertility, and industry. The shrine is also associated with the legend of the Fox Spirits (Kitsune), which are said to be Inari's loyal companions. During the annual Omiyage Festival in July, visitors bring gifts of food, incense, and ornaments to show their gratitude and respect for the kami.
