丸岡城八幡神社

Ishikawa

Located in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Higashi-Honganji Temple was originally built as a Buddhist temple but was later converted to a Shinto shrine. The current building is from the Edo period, and it houses the shrine dedicated to Atsuta Okami, a regional kami believed to be associated with the city's origins.
