Tsushima Shrine, located in the city of Komatsu in Ishikawa Prefecture, is dedicated to the god Hachiman Ōkami, revered as a patron deity of the Imperial Army and a bringer of good fortune and prosperity. The shrine's main hall was built in 1876, during the Meiji period, when it was restored as a Shinto shrine after being converted into a Buddhist temple earlier in Japanese history.
