Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Raijin is the primary kami enshrined at White Mountain Shrine. In addition to Raijin and Inari, other kami known to be enshrined include the god of prosperity, Benzaiten, and the god of war, Susanoo. The shrine's autumn festival, Koyo Matsuri, celebrates the changing colors of the Japanese maples in the surrounding mountains.
