Tsukimi Shrine, located in the scenic town of Awa Odani, Tokushima Prefecture, is dedicated to the goddess of moon viewing, Tsukiyomi. Built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine's main hall, Haiden, features a unique roof structure with 100 shingles, symbolizing the 100 phases of the moon.
