Tsukimi Shrine, located in the scenic town of Awa Odani, Tokushima Prefecture, is dedicated to the goddess of moon viewing, Tsukiyomi. Built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine's main hall, Haiden, features a unique roof structure with 100 shingles, symbolizing the 100 phases of the moon. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Awa Odani coast and surrounding mountains while strolling through the shrine grounds.
