観音堂有浦神社

Aomori

観音堂有浦神社, located in Aomori Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Buddhist deity Amaterasu Omikami and the kami of the sea, known as 'Hasunokuchi' or 'Makoto no Okami'. The shrine's architecture reflects its coastal location, with a wooden torii gate and a large, sturdy foundation. This humble yet distinctive shrine has been an important spiritual center for local fishermen and villagers since the 17th century.
