Located in the city of Aomori, Eight Horses Temple (Hachimantai) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Hachiman-gu, the god of war and protector of the imperial family. Founded during the Kamakura period, this temple is one of the most famous shrines in Japan for its impressive wooden structure. The main hall's architecture reflects the traditional Japanese style of the time, with five-story pagoda and a large vermilion torii gate.
