華下天満宮

Kagawa

Located in the heart of Kagawa Prefecture, Higashi-matsuyama Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu, also known as Tsukiyomi. The shrine's architecture reflects the traditional Japanese style of yosemi-de, with a large torii gate and a main hall adorned with traditional carvings. Visitors can explore the surrounding scenic area, which features several shrines and temples along the Asahi River.
