Spring Day Shrine, located in Tottori Prefecture, is dedicated to the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu and her son Susanoo. The shrine's name reflects its association with the arrival of spring, as its main festival takes place during the Spring Equinox (Haru no Hi) and features traditional sweets, wine, and ritual dances. Built in 1587, the shrine showcases a mix of classical and modern architectural styles, including a distinctive torii gate.

Cultural notes

The shrine was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1592.
