Located in the town of Tōgane, Chiba Prefecture, Matsu no Odawara-jinja is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity known as Matsu-yama-tsumi-no-kami or Okami, and is said to be the deity that protected the Odawara Castle. The shrine was originally built in 1467 during the Muromachi period but has undergone several renovations over the centuries. It is particularly famous for its beautiful vermilion torii gates and its stunning autumn foliage.
