Akita

不動社 is a Shinto shrine located in Akita Prefecture, dedicated to the kami of the mountain and the forest. The shrine is famous for its unique architectural style, featuring a distinctive curved roof and ornate decorations. According to local legend, the shrine was founded by Emperor Jimmu in 714 AD, who is said to have established the first Shinto shrine on the site.
