Cultural notes
High-Town Takasaki on the Sea is believed to be a mythical place representing the spiritual home of Emperor Nintoku. The shrine enshrines the kami of prosperity ( Fukunari-no-kami ) and protection ( Fuku-tsu-ko-no-oki-tama-tsu-mi no-kami ).
