Visitor tip

Cultural notes

San'emon-ji Temple is famous for its 'Matsuri no Hi' (Festival Day), which takes place on May 15th to honor Inari Okami. Visitors can participate in traditional dances and play games, and take part in the ritual offerings of sake and rice.
