Shonai Shrine, located in Shiga Prefecture, is dedicated to the Kami of Prosperity and Good Fortune. The shrine's name translates to 'The Shrine that Welcomes Bounty' or 'The Shrine with the Benevolent God'. It was originally a single shrine but merged with another shrine, the Shrine of Kamehameha (賀茂御祖神社), in 1984.
