鳥海山大物忌神社

Located in the town of Minamiokita, Akita Prefecture, Bird Island Mountain Daimyōjin Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god of war and victory. The shrine's name "Daimyōjin" refers to its primary deity, which is believed to be Kamikaze Okami, a kami associated with sea and stormy weather. The shrine was originally built in 1615 as a minor shrine but gained significance during the Edo period.
