Tokushima

Located in the mountains of Tokushima Prefecture, Shitennō-ji's main temple is dedicated to the Shikoku pilgrimage route. This shrine is notable for its involvement in Japanese folklore regarding a yūrei (vengeful spirit). The shrine is said to be haunted by the ghost of a samurai who was killed at the site. The story states that if you take a photo here, the spirits will appear in it.
