Cultural notes
In Hyogo Prefecture, it is customary to pray for good luck and prosperity during the annual Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival (Hanami) in spring. The shrine also hosts the 平だけなうやべた (Tenchinji Festival), a Shinto festival held in May to celebrate the arrival of spring.
