Prudhana Shrine, located in Tokushima Prefecture, is dedicated to the Shinto kami of fertility and protection, Prudhana. Founded during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine is known for its unique wooden gate, torii made from a single piece of wood. Visitors can offer prayers and make wishes at the shrine's temizuya, or water basin, while also exploring the surrounding park, which features a beautiful garden and teahouse.
