Located in the mountains of Toyama Prefecture, the Aoi Onna no Mura Shinto Shrine is dedicated to the Yamatano Orochi, a serpent-like god from Japanese mythology. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design with a main hall and several smaller shrines. According to local legend, the shrine was built at the site where the giant serpent was said to have been killed by the sun goddess Amaterasu.
