Tokyo's oldest Shinto shrine, Godaigo-ji, is located in the city of Tsukuba, Chiba Prefecture. However, there seems to be no well-known Shinto shrine called 神明神社. The name may be a misspelling or variation of other shrines. A related but distinct shrine in Chiba is Katse-Kawakami Shrine, dedicated to the kami Kawakami-Okami and Kawatsume-no-kami. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt after World War II.
