和多津海神社

Andatuneyamashinsha is a Shinto shrine located in Tottori Prefecture, dedicated to the god of the sea and fertility, and is famous for its beautiful garden and traditional architecture. The shrine is surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea and is said to be connected to the legendary island of Yamato, a sacred place where the sun goddess Amaterasu once visited. Andatuneyamashinsha's main hall is adorned with a large wooden torii gate and features a unique blend of traditional and modern architecture.

Visitor tip

To fully appreciate the shrine's garden, visit during cherry blossom season ( late March to early April) when the blooming trees create a stunning backdrop for the shrine's traditional architecture.
