To experience the authentic atmosphere of Zoshigeto Shrine, arrive early to witness the morning bell-ringing ceremony, which is performed by handbell ringers (Kadobasai) at 7:30 am.

The shrine's name 'Zoshigeto' refers to its original location near the Takamatsu River. According to legend, Benkei, a renowned warrior, was said to have visited this site before his famous duel with his rivals. The shrine is also known for its annual Autumn Leaves Festival (Koyo Matsuri), which celebrates the vibrant fall foliage of the surrounding trees.
