Located in the heart of Okayama City, Okayama Shrine is one of Japan's most beautiful and historic shrines. Dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu, the shrine is also enshrined with other prominent kami including Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Hachiman Okami.

Visitor tip
