Tsujima Gozu Daio Shrine is a Shinto shrine located on the island of Tsujima in the Naruto Strait, but relocated to Nagano Prefecture in the 1970s. The shrine is dedicated to the deity Gouzou Daio, who is said to be the god of fishermen and the patron deity of the city of Maibara in Shiga Prefecture. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Suwa from the shrine's grounds.

Historical note

The original shrine was rebuilt in its current location on the island of Tsujima after the 1960s flood damaged the previous temple.
