Fushimi Inari Shrine, located in Fukuoka City on the main island of Kyushu, is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Japan. However, due to its similarity in name, we will be focusing on the Hokkaido shrine, known as 伏見神社 (Futsu-mi Jinja). This lesser-known shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the Shinto deity of rice, fertility, and industry. The shrine's architecture reflects a mix of traditional Shinto and Edo-period styles. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds, which include a large torii gate and several smaller shrines.
