Located in the city of Futo, Chiba Prefecture, Sanmyo-jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the gods of the imperial court and the god of fertility, Sanmyo Okami. The shrine's current main hall was built in 1967, but its history dates back to 1599 when it was established as a small shrine by the local daimyo, Tsukiyama no Hikosuke. Over time, the shrine has been rebuilt and renovated several times due to natural disasters and fires.
