Historical note
Established during the medieval period, Odaka Shrine has been closely connected to the local samurai families and the development of the Odaka area. The shrine faced significant challenges following the 2011 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster, as the area was within the evacuation zone, but has since been working toward restoration as residents gradually return.
