Located in the heart of Hokkaido, 川東神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the veneration of Ryujin, the dragon god of the sea and storms. This shrine is one of the most well-known and beloved shrines in Hokkaido, attracting visitors from all over the world with its serene atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt in 2000 after being destroyed by an earthquake, but many traditional elements remain intact.
