Utsunomiya-ya Addo-gami Shrine, also known as Addo-jinja, is a Shinto shrine located in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the god of thunder, lightning, and storms, Addo no Kami. The shrine is famous for its large bell, which was cast by the temple of Nikko's Toshogu Shrine.

Cultural notes
According to myth, Addo no Kami was responsible for a devastating flood that destroyed Utsunomiya. The god then appeared in the form of a bird and saved the town from another flood by predicting its path.

The shrine was founded in the 8th century during the Nara period.
