この神社では、農業と郷里への忠誠心を表すための行事が年に一度行われます。新年の早くから始まり、神社前を通った先の水浴び場まで進んで清水を飲むことがallowedです。 また、この神社には神社内で行われている「浄水の式」があり、その後にもしばらくの間は神社に来ることを避けるように言われています。

This shrine was established during the Edo period (1603-1868) in honor of Sōgūmyōjin, a deity associated with agriculture and prosperity.
