Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Star Castle Shrine is said to be connected to the legend of the heavenly messenger, Ōkuninushi, who was believed to reside within its walls. The shrine also hosts a traditional Japanese festival, the 'Ōya Matsuri,' which takes place in late autumn and features colorful lanterns and traditional performances.
