Ushiro no Sennyo is a Shinto shrine located in the Kanagawa prefecture, dedicated to Inari Okami, the kami of rice and fertility. Visitor tip
To experience the shrine's traditional atmosphere, visit during cherry blossom season (March-April) and try some freshly cooked rice cakes offered at the shrines' food stall.

As Inari Okami is revered as the patron deity of commerce and industry, Ushiro no Sennyo hosts an annual festival in May to promote local businesses and trade.

Founded in 1653, Ushiro no Sennyo was originally a private shrine dedicated to the Hōjō family.
