Suwagami Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is known as one of Japan's oldest shrines, dating back to the 7th century. The shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god Susanoo-no-Mikoto, who was said to have created the sea and is often depicted as a powerful storm god.
