Located in the town of Kinugawa, Tochigi Prefecture, Yumezaka Toda Shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god of good luck and prosperity, Kodama. The shrine's name roughly translates to 'a sword that brings good fortune.' It is believed that a legendary sword was buried on this site by an order of samurai warriors in the 7th century. Today, visitors can explore the shrine grounds, which feature beautiful gardens and walking paths along the nearby Kinugawa River.
