Fukurōdaimaishin, or Fukurō Daikami, is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Osaka, dedicated to the god of fortune and prosperity. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, with a distinctive tiled roof and vermilion paint adorning its walls. According to legend, the shrine was built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE) by the Imperial family itself.

Visitor tip
To avoid crowds, visit the shrine early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun's rays cast a warm glow on the vermilion torii gate.
