神明宮

Niigata

Located in the city of Yokohama, Godai Jingu is one of Japan's oldest Shinto shrines, dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami, the sun goddess. Built in 1869, it was restored in 1966 and features a unique wooden structure known as 'Gaya' style. The shrine is famous for its beautiful garden and seasonal festivals. Located at 1-20-11 Shimo-Sakae, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture.
