Godai Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Osaka, dedicated to the kami Godai. The shrine is famous for its beautiful architecture and stunning cherry blossom trees. Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Godai Shrine is associated with the Shinto deity who oversees the wind, lightning, and storms. The shrine is also famous for its traditional 'tsutsuji-gari' festival, which takes place in May and features a unique ritual where visitors write their wishes on paper boats and float them down the river that runs through the shrine grounds.
