Visitor tip

Visitors can offer prayers at the torii gate, which is a replica of the original one destroyed during World War II. Be respectful of local customs by bowing upon approaching the shrine.

Dayōjinsha is associated with the mythology of the rice goddess, Tamayotsukuni no Okami. The shrine is also known for its annual autumn festival, which features traditional games and food stalls.
