Located in the town of Katsuura, Ibaraki Prefecture, Sugiyama no Mikawa-gami Shrine is dedicated to the kami Mikawazushi-no-kami, a deity associated with fish and prosperity. The shrine's name, Sugiyama no Mikawa-gami Shrine, reflects its location near the Sugiyama River. While its historical origins are unclear, the shrine has been rebuilt several times throughout the centuries.

Visitor tip
