Cultural notes
Sanada Jinja Shrine is connected to the legend of Ōishi Yoshio, the leader of the Forty-seven Ronin, who visited the shrine before his famous revenge at the Sakakibara residence. The shrine also hosts an annual spring festival (Shunbun Matsuri), featuring traditional performances and rituals.
