飯玉神社

Fuyuda Shrine, located in the mountainous town of Takasaki in Gunma Prefecture, is dedicated to the Shinto kami Inari Okami. The shrine's main hall, a traditional gabled roofed structure, houses the iconic torii gate known as 'Fuyuda no Torii,' which stands 2.5 meters tall and is adorned with vermilion paint and gold leaf. Visitors can purify their hands at the water basin before offering prayers or participating in rituals to ensure a bountiful harvest.

Visitor tip
