Aiwa-san Shinkan, or Aiwa Shrine, is a Shinto shrine located in Aomori Prefecture. Dedicated to the goddess of love and fertility, Love is said to be invoked by couples seeking marriage, children, and prosperity. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a major hub for the Yamato Kingdom's expansion into the north.

Historical note
Aiwa-san Shinkan was originally constructed in 708 AD during the Asuka period, marking one of the earliest Japanese shrines to be built north of the mountainous region of Edo.
