Located in the heart of Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Eight Dragon God Shrine is a historic Shinto site dedicated to the god of wisdom and knowledge, Susanoo-no-Mikoto, as well as the god of agriculture and fertility, Ryujin. The shrine's architecture reflects its Kamakura period origins, with a large torii gate and a five-story pagoda.
