Residence of God is a Shinto shrine located in the Miyagi Prefecture, dedicated to the worship of Susanoo no Mikoto and Otori Okami, two kami who are believed to have played important roles in Japanese mythology. Cultural notes
Susanoo no Mikoto, the storm god, is said to have created the sea and was often depicted as a strong and powerful deity. Otori Okami, the god of agriculture, was revered for his role in bringing fertility to the land.

The shrine was founded during the Edo period (1603-1867) and has been continuously operating since then.
