Located in the Gunma Prefecture, the Shrine of Jingu no Okami is a Shinto temple dedicated to the deity Inari Okami. The shrine is known for its traditional architecture and beautiful gardens. According to local legend, the shrine was established by a former regent of the Emperor who was deeply devoted to Inari Okami.

Visitor tip
To make an offering at the shrine's famous torii gate, it is customary to take a small sack of rice or other food and fill the gates' compartments before making your way through.

The shrine was rebuilt in 1714 after a fire destroyed the original structure.
