Middle Village Shrine, located in the scenic town of Shikoku's Minami District, is dedicated to the worship of Masaoka-yama-tsumi no kami (, Mountain Spirit of Masaoka). With its unique blend of traditional and modern architecture, this shrine embodies the spirit of rural Shikoku. Built on the site where a 12th-century temple once stood, the current shrine's impressive torii gate and sacred pond evoke a sense of serenity and connection to nature.
