Located in the heart of Kanazawa, the city's largest district, Dayo-jinsha is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Cultural notes

Historical note
The shrine was originally built as a branch shrine of the nearby Kanazawa Castle, which was constructed in the 17th century.
