One-rope temple, a unique architectural style of the Izumo region, can be found in one-rope Shinto shrines, often enshrined with god of crops. One-rope Shinto shrine is found mainly at Izumo or Yamaguchi Prefectures. The design may vary but generally have 3 to 5 ropes hanging from roof top. The temple is said to bring good luck and prosperity.
