石川神社

Ishikawa

Located in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Stone River Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of the stone river, believed to be a powerful deity who controls the flow of water and earth. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, with a rectangular main hall and a five-story pagoda tower. According to local legend, the shrine was founded by Prince Shotoku in 645 CE, making it one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan.
